Community Peace & Cohesion

We work to strengthen social cohesion in Anbar Governorate through community dialogue sessions, conflict-sensitivity capacity-building workshops, support for returnees from displacement, and participation in monitoring and early-warning teams. We cooperate with UNDP, partner organizations, and the local government in Fallujah.

What we do

• Civil society capacity-building workshops on the conflict-sensitivity approach, within UNDP's Iraq Community Cohesion Programme.
• UNDP workshops on social integration of returning IDPs, held at the Crystal Hotel in Erbil.
• Training sessions for the Monitoring and Early Warning Team, chaired by Fallujah Mayor Mr. Faisal Khaled Al-Aifan.
• Ramadan evening with civil society organizations, attended by the Head of the Local Organizations Division at the Anbar Governorate Office.
• Lecture at the Cultural House in Fallujah on World Humanitarian Day.
