التقى الأستاذ عمر الوليد رئيس منظمة الوليد للإغاثة والتنمية البشرية بـ رئيس بعثة الأمم المتحدة لمساعدة العراق (يونامي) الدكتور محمد الحسان وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون المشترك وبحث آفاق الشراكة في المجالات الإنسانية والتنموية.
وجرى خلال اللقاء مناقشة عدد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك أبرزها دعم البرامج الإنسانية وتعزيز جهود التنمية المستدامة وتمكين الفئات الأكثر احتياجاً إضافة إلى دور منظمات المجتمع المدني في دعم الاستقرار والسلام المجتمعي.
من جانبه أثنى الدكتور محمد الحسان على دور منظمات المجتمع المدني الوطنية ومنها منظمة الوليد للإغاثة والتنمية البشرية في تنفيذ البرامج الميدانية ودعم المجتمعات المحلية مؤكداً حرص بعثة الأمم المتحدة على تعزيز التنسيق والتعاون مع المنظمات الفاعلة.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء ضمن جهود منظمة الوليد للإغاثة والتنمية البشرية لتوسيع شراكاتها المؤسسية بما يسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز العمل الإنساني في العراق ١٥/ ١٢ / ٢٠٢٥
The President of Alwaleed Relief and Development Organization Meets with the Head of the UN Mission in Iraq
Mr. Omar Alwaleed, President of Alwaleed Relief and Development Organization, met with Dr. Mohammed Al-Hassan, Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), to discuss strengthening cooperation and exploring partnership opportunities in humanitarian and development fields.
During the meeting, they discussed several issues of mutual interest, most notably supporting humanitarian programs, enhancing sustainable development efforts, empowering the most vulnerable groups, and the role of civil society organizations in supporting stability and social peace.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Hassan commended the role of national civil society organizations, including Alwaleed Relief and Development Organization, in implementing field programs and supporting local communities. He emphasized UNAMI's commitment to strengthening coordination and cooperation with active organizations.
This meeting is part of Alwaleed Relief and Development Organization's efforts to expand its institutional partnerships, contributing to achieving sustainable development and enhancing humanitarian work in Iraq.
